The original building was a converted garden shed. Parks Low approached Jim Graham about creating a forge at the NC State Fair and was Heritage Forge was begun. Many smiths were involved in the original construction.
The new building is a dog trot style building with a wrap around deck. Steve Troxler Donated the two log cabins that went on to become the new Heritage Forge Building. Troxler has become a common sight down at "his forge" and has picked up a hammer and forged with us as time allows.
(Do not take this as Steve Troxler personally endorsing or profiting from any of the sales on the smiths pages)
Scott Smith of Wispering Pines donated the floorboards used in the new Heritage Forge.
